Isratrade Investments is an Israeli investment boutique serving international investors related to private equity, venture capital, and private placement. We offer our clients personalized access to Israel investment opportunities, perform due diligence, and serve as trusted "local eyes and ears" on the ground in Israel. The company, previously called Isratrade Investments, was founded by Joseph Magen in 2007 and has served clients in Singapore, Hong Kong, South Korea, Japan, UAE, Switzerland, United States and Canada.
What do we do?
Isratrade specializes in special purpose vehicles (SPVs) that allow a personalized and diversified approach to invest in the Israeli’s hi-tech ecosystem in individual Israeli companies and VC funds.
By investing in Isratrade SPVs, investors gain access to investment opportunities that otherwise would not be possible through direct investment.
Isratrade SPV invested in aMoon Growth I, Israel’s leading healthtech & life sciences venture fund that closed a $750M, making it the largest venture capital fund currently operating in Israel.
Who are we?
Joseph Magen founded Isratrade (previously called Isratrade) Investments in 2007 to serve foreign investors in Israel. He has more than 20 years of experience in high-tech companies, software development, and the Israeli venture capital industry. Joseph immigrated to Israel from the United States in 2001. He previously worked at Evergreen Venture Capital and Red Hat’s R&D branch in Israel. Joseph graduated from a B.S. degree in Industrial & Systems Engineering, and completed a Masters of Business (MBA) from Bar Ilan University in Israel. He lives in central Israel with his wife and five children.
Fong Jek has 20 years of experience in cross-border strategic and venture investments, M&A, and corporate development in media, telecommunications, technologies, Internet, mobile, FMCG and luxury retail sectors across Asia Pacific, especially Greater China. He held senior investment positions in Kraft Foods, Temasek companies (STT and MediaCorp), Asian Family Corporations (MNC Media and Sincere Watch) and co-founded two corporate venture funds. Fong Jek holds Dual EMBA degrees from INSEAD and Tsinghua University, a Master in Business (Family Business) and Bachelor of Accountancy (Honours) from Nanyang Technological University. He is also Fellow Chartered Accountant (FCA) of Singapore.
